Dissolved air flotation machine is a commonly used solid-liquid separation equipment in the sewage treatment industry, which can effectively remove suspended solids, oils, and adhesives from sewage. The COD removal rate is 75%~85%, and the SS removal rate is over 95%.
Air flotation is a water purification process in which air or other gases are introduced into wastewater to generate a large number of fine bubbles, causing some small suspended solids or solid particles in the water to adhere to the bubbles and float up to the water surface to be scraped off, thus completing solid-liquid separation. Air flotation requires pre-treatment measures such as coagulation, flocculation, and emulsion breaking to complete.
Dissolved air flotation is suitable for treating water with low turbidity, high chromaticity, high organic content, low oil content, low surface active substance content, or rich in algae. It is widely used in industrial wastewater treatment such as printing and dyeing, electroplating, chemical industry, food, oil refining, as well as pulp recovery of papermaking wastewater and separation of activated sludge in biological treatment.
